Awakening Statement of Faith
We believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.
We believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit
and born of the virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
he descended to hell.
The third day he rose again from the dead.
He ascended to heaven
and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty.
He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
We believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic* church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.

What denomination are you affiliated with?
Awakening Church is a non-denominational assembly, but we are closely affiliated with a relational network of churches across Canada known as the Ripple Network.
What are your gatherings like?
Awakening Church exists at the crossroads of the charismatic and contemplative life. We value expressive worship, genuine interaction, the practice of communion, ministering to one another through the gifts of the Spirit, and elements of liturgy through congregational prayers and declarations.
Our gatherings are casual and comfortable, and everyone is welcome!
Do you have a children's program?
FOUNDRY Kids exists to empower children to know the Holy Spirit for themselves. After worship in the morning gathering, kids head downstairs for their own special service.
The nursery, from ages 0-2, is a "Parent Directed" zone.
Ages 2-3 must be checked-in by a parent or guardian.
Ages 4-9 have their own special class, and ages 10-12 are welcome to join us as helpers!
